Must read

A family in Kambi ya Juu area in Isiolo County is crying for justice after their daughter was killed in a gruesome manner leaving the area residents in shock and disbelief.

26-year-old Celestine Nduku, a mother of two, is said to have been stabbed several times and her throat slit by an unknown person.

According to the victim’s mother, Florence Ngina Kioko, her two grandchildren, who are Celestine’s children, came back home from church at around 3pm on Sunday and found their mother lying in a pool of blood on her bed.

They tried to call her out but when she didn’t respond, they rushed to their grandmother’s place who lives a few kilometres from the area and alerted her of what they had found at their home.

The culprit is still on the run even as police investigate the matter to establish who killed her.

A post mortem done on her body revealed that she had been stabbed several times and even raped.

She will be buried tomorrow in Masinga, Machakos county.
